Needed a new, bigger hole in the ceiling to feed the many new coax cables through to the loft.
No more do I have to poke coax through the ceiling and then solder the plugs back on !
Just need to remove the old coax runs and fill the smaller holes.

Finally got all 6 monitors working !
New Radio Box – Rear – Power Distribution.
Power terminals fitted. The thinking is that Anderson connectors can be disconnected from the PSUs and then plugged in to the battery leads for off grid use.
Going to need some sort of cable management out the back here.

The mic holder fits quite well here I think. I really like the layout of it all.
Not just a Landrover, radio, computer nerd.
My Class 37 now has space to run along my desk between keyboards, adding train nerd to the list.

Testing of the Ubiquity NanoStation M2-XW with AREDN firmware.
Currently they are just meshing with the node in my truck.

AREDN MESH Go Box – Project Write Up
I needed a go box of mesh stuffs that could be deployed quickly and contain some PIs, an access point and an AREDN node.
I am quite fond of the Really Useful Box series and have a number of them with project parts and tools in etc. So I choose a 9L box to try and fit some bits in.

AREDN MESH node boxed up with a couple of PIs. One VoIP Server and one Intranet/File Server. Space for one more coming.
Also includes a Wi-Fi access point. The Mikrotik RouterBoard is running The Dude Server and also allows some MESH to Local Network traffic routing.
The wiring begins of the new roof switch pod for the Landy
I have ordered new roof switch pod and switches for the Landy ready for a bank holiday rewire project.
A whole cutter and drill made a neat job of a cable hole for the new switch pod in the roof head lining.
It all fits in nice a snug with the Dashcam, Icom IC-2820 head unit and CarPc touch screen.
Icom IC-2820 and CarPC fitted and cabled.
This all fits pretty snug and hidden away behind the passenger seat.
New GPS / WiFi pod on roof of the Landy.
Using a plastic fish food container as the main body / cover to mount the GPS and Wi-Fi adapters for the Icom IC-2820 radio and CarPC.
This KFC corn on the cob is going to outlive me !!!
